Your Comments...I hear you!

Well it seems like lots of you watched the show last night!!

My email box filled to the brim within 30 minutes of the show ending and its seems for most of you the subject was the same...our skeptics comments about our stroke victim. Soplease allow me to answer you all on mass rather than one-by-one as I try to normally do, please!

Many of you have communicated that whether or not you agree that psychics can do this kind of medical intuition, it was clear to you that you couldnt tell this gentleman had been sticken previously by a blood clot/stroke. Yes, I agree...I couldnt have reacted any more strongly on camera! Yes, my outrage was real as it seems is yours. You also have said that you think it was quite insensitive to our gentleman that this was said. I agree and I felt that it was an unnecessary way to try and make a point.

Bottomline for me on the subject of medical intuition is this: Mainstream Medical Science doesnt know it all. Great doctors and scientists agree with this. My husband is a doctor and he and his colleagues freely accept this. Great psychics also do not claim to know it or all be infalliable in their intuition and do not ever suggest not to go and see a medical doctor. It is worth remembering that skeptics refuted and campaigned against acupuncture up until the AMA formally sanctioned that it works less than a few years ago. We still dont know how it works, but now, since mainstream medical science says it does, this means its really Ok or more valid than more than a thousand years of tradition said it was all this time?

We are not at any stage advising you to just see a medical intuitive ALONE for your diagnosis. Healing is yet another issue, and irrelevant to this conversation as we were only dealing with diagnosis on this show.

Best wishes

Stacey

Hi Stacey, I know this comment is really late but I just found your site after searching for information on the AMA and acupuncture.

On the AMA site, they only seem to say that they refer to the Cochranne(?) group. I found that website a few days ago and they don't seem to think acupuncture works.

Can you show me where the AMA said it works?

Thanks. (PS. I couldn't see the stroke victim leaning either)
