WOW..Big Reaction and it hasn't even started yet....

Well, being a part of The One is going to be a bit of a ride isn't it when the show hasn't even started yet and the positive and negative comments are flying hither and thither.

It has come to my attention, that there are already some disparaging remarks about me personally and my chosen path as a Witch amongst certain websites and blogs. As a Witch, it's pretty much water off a ducks back...after all, my predecessors were burnt, drowned, tortured and accused of partying hard with the red-horned bloke, so hey, a few cheap shots by people who know nothing about me isn't too taxing! Thanks for your concern though!

What I will say is that there is obviously a lot of emotion about the issue of whether psychic ability is real. There is also a lot of fear. Justifiably...if psychic ability can be proved by mainstream science to be unequivocally real, some of the most basic laws of science, in particular physics, will change. This is one mighty big applecart to overturn. Happily though, science has had this happen to it constantly (worlds flat, germs don't exist, acupuncture doesn't work) that it will get over it.

Whilst both sides can throw eminent scientists against each other, right now skeptics do not have the monopoly on rationality. There are plenty of respected scientists and thinkers who believe in these kinds of talents. Its very important to do your own research if you are interested, and here's a few links I found that might wet your whistle.
